Role & Responsibilities

Global corporation solutions provider, with a focus on Operational Excellence within the Energy industry seeks:

Technical Sales Consultant who will establish and maintain executive level relationships in major functional areas of the customer organization.   The successful candidate will:

  • Utilize relationships to develop strong revenue growth initiatives for all Energy, Oil & Gas and heavy industry services as well as retains business within established accounts.   
  • Follow and execute a structured solution sales process for revenue growth and prospecting.   
  • Be able to uncover new opportunities with client based on the understanding of the client´s needs, work flows and strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10-years’ experience in relevant technical field and 10-years’ experience in sales or marketing.
  • Bilingual, Advanced English – written and spoken – is mandatory.
  • Professional Sales experience in service areas, consulting, business solutions or other intangibles (Consultative Selling Skills).
  • Strong presentation and networking skills.
  • Experience supporting Request for Proposal processes.
  • Specific experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Energy industry, or other highly technical heavy industries required.
Habilidades Específicas

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for business development and sales of product and service offerings to the Oil & Gas and Energy market sectors, execution of strategic direction, and helping achieve company financial targets through individual and sales team success.

  • Achieve and exceed individual, territory, and key account revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with Sales Leadership regarding market and growth strategies.
  • Develop an effective understanding of all technical product and service offerings and support sales of all offerings across Energy, Oil and Gas, and heavy industry.
  • Understand and execute effective account management to grow key accounts to long-term, large, and comprehensive contracts
  • Understand the technical sales process and effective sales pipeline management to advance opportunities through a complete (end-to-end) sales process for all technical offerings. 
  • Ability to effectively present technical capabilities and expand discovery phases for complete understanding of client objectives/challenges/needs.
  • Effectively develop and execute strategies to:
    • Advance warm self-generated leads and provided from Inside Sales Associates.
    • Move client from “transactional” sales to larger, longer-term contracts (Co-sourcing, Master Agreements, etc.) through a consultative approach.
    • Manage and grow selected Key Accounts year over year.
    • Identify and land meetings with client Senior Leadership levels.
    • Lead RFP responses and advanced proposal writing.
  • Support marketing and sales collateral development (case studies, white papers, PPTs, statement of capabilities, etc.)
  • Effectively leverage the CRM for managing all leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities.
  • Maintain after sales communications to ensure customer satisfaction and prospect for new opportunities across client organization.
  • Domestic and international market penetration.
